The Culligan Quality Difference
Always advancing with new technological developments, our products set the standards for the water treatment industry.
Culligan drinking water systems remove bad tastes and odours, cryptosporidium and Giardia, as well as other contaminants including chlorine and lead. Culligan drinking water is so perfect that is it used exclusively by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).
Why Culligan water filters?
Due to their unique pleated membrane technology and compact design with quick-connect fittings for easy installation, Culligan water filtration cartridges have approximately 5.6 times more filter surface area than conventional carbon cartridge water filters.
1. Easy change disposable cartridge
The easy change cartridge has metal walls to resist water pressure surges, preventing cracks or splitting common to some plastic filter housings.
2. Pleated surface
The pleated surface, with five times more surface area than carbon block technologies of similar size, increases water's exposure to activated carbon resulting in improved efficiency and longer cartridge life.
3. Exclusive MicroPure coating
The exclusive MicroPure filtering media coats the entire pleated surface eliminating 99.9% of all particles 0.5 micron (150 times smaller than the width of a human hair) and larger.
4. Scale inhibitor
A scale inhibitor blended into MicroPure material reduces scale build-up in water extending life of appliances such as kettles, coffee machines and irons.
A Culligan water filter effectively removes many pollutants including:
| Dirt and cloudiness Chlorine Lead Giardia Lamblia cysts Cryptosporidium parvum cysts Entamoeba histolytica cysts Mould and algae | Bad tastes and odours Asbestos fibres Oxidised iron Oxidised manganese Oxidside sulfides 99.9+% of all particles 0.5 micron and larger |
